Industry support to advance your company's growth

Industry supportThe support for your cleantech company continues and grows once you locate to Colorado. We're one of only five states to have initiated an industry association dedicated entirely to cleantech, the Colorado Cleantech Industry Association (CCIA), which focuses solely on the development of clean technologies in Colorado.

The CCIA represents the interests of the state's cleantech industry. Its mission is to further establish Colorado as a world leader in clean technology by providing representation and advocacy, a unified voice, relevant programming, and capacity development.

Other major cleantech industry groups in Colorado:

  • The Colorado Energy Coalition, an affiliate of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, advocates for the energy industry as a whole and works to measure Colorado's competitive position in the wind, solar, natural gas, and fossil energy industries. This consortium of energy leaders and stakeholders works to position Colorado as the "Balanced Energy Capital of the West."
  • The Colorado Center for Renewable Energy Economic Development (CREED) is a joint effort between the state of Colorado, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and stakeholders and service providers that support the creation and growth of cleantech companies in Colorado, contributing to economic development in the state. CEED provides a unique facility where organizations, industry, researchers, scientists, and engineers can interact and  discuss important technical, business, market, and policy issues with entrepreneurs, investors, analysts, and policy makers.
  • The CleanLaunch Technology Incubator works to ignite Colorado's cleantech startups by stimulating the development and success of early-stage companies that will provide the next generation of clean, renewable, and efficient energy technologies. CleanLaunch helps companies assemble solid management teams, secure adequate funding, and accelerate the commercialization of sound product ideas into the market.
