SolarCity opens second Colorado Operations Center in Parker

SolarCity announced on May 12, 2011 that it has opened a second Colorado operations center in Parker, based on a strong initial response to the company’s offering in the state. The company has hired an addition 21 local workers in Parker, increasing SolarCity’s Colorado workforce to 66 employees.

The 12,500 square foot space will support SolarCity’s solar power and energy efficiency services in Colorado. SolarCity provides Coloradans solar power design, installation and financing options that can cost less than the current price they pay for electricity. The company also performs comprehensive energy efficiency evaluations and a range of efficiency improvements including air sealing, attic insulation and efficient heating, cooling and lighting.
