Martifer Solar USA announces new office in Denver
Martifer Solar USA, a Los Angeles-based leader in turnkey photovoltaic solutions, has expanded operations to Denver, CO.
The Denver office will leverage the peak incentives dedicated to renewable energy for residential, commercial and government markets. Colorado's renewable energy standard is one of the highest in the country. According to the state's renewable portfolio standards, Colorado's utilities are required to obtain 30 percent of their power from renewable sources by the year 2020. Martifer Solar aims to help the state government meet that benchmark.
The office will be staffed with a highly experienced Regional Manager, Project Manager, Residential Solar Consultant and a Client Service Representative. The photovoltaic priorities of the Denver office are to finance, install and maintain installations for residential, commercial and government level clients.
"The City of Denver will absolutely benefit from Martifer's expansion,"said Martifer Solar CEO Raffi Agopian. "We see ourselves as being part of the community and encourage the residents, businesses and cities of Colorado to join us in a combined effort to keep Colorado at the forefront of the renewable energy effort."
Since the office's opening in 2010, the Martifer Denver office has completed two residential solar systems with a combined 7.36kW peak capacity along with two commercial systems including a 100kW array at Total Longterm Care Lowry and three 100kW projects on behalf of the City of Aurora, totaling over 400kW peak capacity.
"I feel fortunate to be a part of Martifer Denver," said Regional Manager of the Colorado office, Nick Galesic. "Colorado's solar rebates are extremely attractive and with over 300 days of sunshine a year, panel efficiency levels cannot be beat."
