Denver Metro SBDC offering sessions for entrepreneurs
The Denver Metro Small Business Development Center will offer two free informational sessions for the NxLeveL Entrepreneurial Program on July 21 and 29. These sessions will allow interested businesses to learn more and ask questions about the program, as well as hear from past attendees. The introductory sessions will be held on July 21 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and July 29 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce at 1445 Market Street.
The NxLeveL Entrepreneurial Program for start-up businesses is an intensive, 12-week business planning course that takes participants through a step-by-step approach to writing a professional business plan. The course is designed for entrepreneurs who are considering starting their own business and for existing small businesses looking to get a leg up on the competition.
The program covers topics including research, marketing, organizational matters, financial planning and projections, and managing growth. It culminates with the creation of a comprehensive business plan for each participant. The class runs every Thursday evening from 6 - 9 p.m. starting August 19. The cost for the NxLeveL Entrepreneurial Program is $495, including course materials. Additional employees from the same business are $175. There is an early registration discount of $75 for those participants who apply and pay for the course by August 6.
