Ascent Solar to exhibit at Solar Power International 2011

Solar innovators will demonstrate how to integrate thin-film modules to power everyday life

Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASTI), a developer of state-of-the-art, flexible thin-film photovoltaic modules, announced it will showcase its technology at booth number 3243 during the Solar Power International 2011 conference October 18 - 20 in Dallas, which is expected to attract nearly 24,000 professionals from more than 125 countries.

"We look forward to meeting with solar industry innovators to discuss how Ascent Solar's lightweight PV solutions are transforming the way solar can power products for industries ranging from consumer products to building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV)," said Ascent Solar President and CEO Ron Eller.

In August Ascent Solar announced a strategic alliance to license its technology for East Asia while growing production at its Colorado manufacturing facilities. At Solar Power International, company representatives will discuss its licensing strategy and its lightweight flexible solar solutions with media and prospective customers.
